In an attempt to answer that question with
some semblance of a preformed thought My name is Faith. That’s a good start!
I recently married my best friend, Gordon, back in June 2013. It
was a wonderful day and I am sure I will be writing more about it! We now live
in a beautiful home together with our two crazy cats! (I’m sure multiple
pictures of them will follow!)
Aside from that though, it’s been a tough couple of years. I
currently work in day job where I literally sit for 40 hours a week, my arse
hurts by the end of most weeks. I used to be extremely active. I played
university level softball at college which meant lots of aerobic activity and
lifting programs throughout the entire school year. And, I had to walk
everywhere, which I hated at first, but learned to love it by the end of my
four years. You can imagine the shock to my system when I got out of college
and had to sit for 40 hours a week. Seriously, this can’t be healthy! Did I mention
I love food. Ice cream, chocolate, cake, MEAT, and yes…popsicles. Sitting +
Foodie, an equation for disaster… “look Ma’ I’m slowly killing myself with food
and laziness!”
So now I have had to take drastic measures, I have to start being
extremely intentional about my fitness and eating habits. This is where the
blog comes in! It is here that I want to share with, hopefully, a few readers
my experiences as I attempt to reach my fitness goals. I hope that through this
blog I can be a part of and help create and maintain a community. My first
